Spring Is Blooming

Haiku for April 2023

It’s always a challenge to come up with new images for my posts, haiku or otherwise. And I like playing around with graphics even though I don’t always have the time to do what I want. I’d like to do a painting or two, or at least a sketch, but my schedule has been tight these days.

So, I’ve been playing around with what I can, a mix of AI-generated stuff that is modified before and after in GIMP and simple pieces of artwork when time allows. I’ll probably have a few more of these. I hope they add something of interest for those who read my posts.

Spring is finally springing forth with flowers and tree buds popping out everywhere. And so, with a different take than my usual purely nature-centric posts, here is my haiku for April.

A young, dark-haired woman with yellow flowers in her hair stands in a field of yellow flowers.

For those using a screen reader, the haiku is:

Flowers in her hair,
She makes them more beautiful;
Spring is in her step
