Haiku for a Winter’s Eve

Warm colors in a cold sky?

It’s not difficult to find ugly things in today’s world. All too often, they are impossible to avoid. Yet there is still beauty. Sometimes we just have to take the time to notice — even if it is only a fleeting glimpse of color on a chilly winter’s evening.

A photo of a sunset where the sky has blue, orange, and a hint of other colors.

For those using a screen reader, the haiku is:

The sun cloaks itself
Within a rainless rainbow;
Dressed for the evening?
