Silent Sunrise
Just a morning thought…
For those using a screen reader, the poem is:
Silent colors greet me before the birds begin to sing;
The air stirs, dry leaves rustle.
Sometimes, I wish the morning would last forever
With bold skies, soft sounds.
But then I would miss the sunsets drifting into night
With their bold skies, soft sounds.
I suppose I am particular about my skies;
No glaring noon, no gloomy midnight.
