Haiku For March 2022
More light, a hint of warmth
It is March; there are whispers of the coming spring. Rumors abound concerning the warmth to come. Any ice that remains begins to melt, even in the shadowy, north-facing hollows. A few buds are swelling.
Update: I know I should have posted this earlier in the month when the temperatures were cooler, but life doesn’t always go as expected. Although we had snow less than a week ago, the buds previously mentioned are now blooming. I claim poetic license.
