Thank you!

Now for this month’s haiku…

A neighbor has planted a small butterfly garden including a few milkweed plants to attract monarch butterflies. It seems to have worked. Her garden has become home to several monarch butterfly caterpillars. Perhaps I’ll catch a glimpse of orange wings later on!

A photo of a monarch butterfly caterpillar eating a milkweed leaf. The caterpillar is encircled by yellow, white, and black stripes.

For those using a screen reader, the haiku is:

Formally attired,
The monarch dines on fresh greens;
Bright wings optional

With preparation for the Shore Leave convention (later this month) and other things going on, I’m not sure I’ll have another post this month, but we’ll see!
