Floating on air?

During the dog days of summer, there are evenings where the humid air feels like a fluid, pouring softly over your body, gently tempting you to close your eyes and enjoy its touch. It tricks the mind, making you believe you are surrounded by water — water that neither cools nor warms, but passes across your face, your arms, unnoticed except for a slight pressure. Your thoughts drift into nothingness; your body floats on an ethereal stream.

It is easy to forget the world at times like this. The body relaxes. Even breathing loses all effort.
