Haiku: Clouds, Clouds, Go Away?
Why wait until it rains?
I drove to the store a few days ago. I didn’t mind; the day was pleasant. It was still summer, of course, but the temperatures were mild and the sky was a deep blue accessorized with stereotypically puffy clouds. I was concerned the clouds might gather enough to give a brief shower. When I stopped and got out of the car, I saw in the rear window a reflection of all this with the wiper blade in the center and thought, “If I turned on the wiper, wouldn’t it be great if it could brush away the clouds? I’d never have a rainy day again!”
Without a doubt, it was a silly thought, yet it amused me enough to take a photo. And while the haiku would be confusing without the image, I couldn’t resist posting it!
For those using a screen reader, the haiku is:
Wipe away the clouds?
Are they not unfallen rain?
If it works, I’ll laugh!
